Steve currently plays Selmer, Yanagisawa, and Julius Keilworth saxophones. He also plays Yamaha flutes and recorders.

Steve is proudly endorsed by the Toca percussion company. He is currently playing the Custom Deluxe Fiberglass congas and bongos outfitted with Gibraltar hardware.

Steve uses Toca's Pete Escovedo Signature Model timbales. He uses a mixture of Paiste, Zildjian, Sabian, and Meinl cymbals. Timbale sticks include both the Luis Conte and Giovanni Hildago Zildjian models. As an Aquarian endorser, Steve is proud to use Satin Finish™ Texture Coated drum heads.

Steve uses a variety of Toca and other miscellaneous hand percussion.
