The Lao Tizer Band has just released their first single from the Diversity
CD. "Uptown" has shipped to smooth jazz radio and expects to see action
on the R&R charts in the coming weeks. The street date for Diversity
has been set for April 3. On March 16, it will be available on iTunes, Yahoo!
Music, and other digital music retailers. The group will also be performing
at the popular Jacksonville Jazz Festival in Florida on April 13. The LTB is
currently filling up tour dates for this spring and summer. Keep checking the
Calendar for updates! Steve will
also be performing in Las Vegas that month with 70's icon Jimmy Messina.

Steve will be joining Kenny Loggins for his "Celebrate Me Home For Christmas"
tour which opens on the east coast after Thanksgiving. The new show will feature
classic holiday songs as well as a mix of Kenny's biggest hits. For those of
you in the Southern California area, the tour winds up with an engagement in
Cerritos, CA at the Performing Arts Center. Tour dates are posted on the Calendar

The Lao Tizer Band just returned from a great show in San Antonio for Soft Rock
101.9. The jazz fans were out in big numbers that evening to hear the band run
through new numbers from the new Diversify album. The music was hot,
and so was the weather! All you Southern California people come out to the Gardena
Jazz Festival and enjoy a helping of what the band will be serving
up during next year's busy jazz festival season!

- Lao Tizer and the band have just returned from a repeat performance of last
year's Jazz in the Woods concert series held in Kansas City, Missouri. Once
again opening for smooth jazz legend Spyro Gyra, the band enjoyed a great set
that was taped for local public television. Look for pictures from the show
coming soon! Also, the new Lao Tizer Band CD Diversify, set for general
release later this summer, is on sale now at all Lao Tizer concerts.
